"If you want a paradise in somewhat remote area with a gorgeous accommodation, this is it! All the staff was amazing and the facility is so wonderful with attentions to every detail. Nothing but nature is there but if you call a grab, restaurants, major activities are 15 min drive away. I don’t want to recommend this as I want to keep it to ourselves without spreading to others but I highly recommend this!! Good for a couple or family."

"The family that runs this homestay is very warm and friendly. The room was big (surprising for Vietnam!), modern and clean. The best part for us was the view. The limestone mountains and the river we could see out our windows and door were just so picturesque. "This was an incredible stay. The location, the breakfast oh that pool, so refreshing after long walks. You can access the entire area by foot. I stayed a week. Never rented a scooter and walked to Ninh binh twice. Freedom was such a relaxing wonderful experience and the little lady who literally sweeps, cleans and smiles all day. "If you are looking for luxury in an unforgettable setting, this is absolutely the place for you. From the moment we arrived, every single detail had been thoughtfully taken care of, and the staff were simply incredible. We felt so well looked after throughout every experience and could not have asked for a more special stay. The food was exceptional, the surroundings are stunning, and the entire property has such a wonderful atmosphere. We also had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Kim, who was incredibly warm and lovely. He shared so many fascinating details about the accommodation’s commitment to sustainability and renewable practices. We especially loved learning that even the restaurant tables were made from recycled old pallets. It is clear that so much thought and care has gone into every aspect of the property. We genuinely loved every second of our stay and would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for somewhere truly special. Thank you to the entire team for making our stay so memorable and unforgettable!"

"The owners are amazing! If you are looking for a beautiful stay, clean room, great AC, great home cooked breakfast, coffee, water bottles and 10 star hospitality! They even have a gorgeous puppy on site, goats on the mountain side, and a beautiful view for even your bathroom. We were about a 10-15 min Grab ride from all of the tours and things to do. A peaceful getaway which was perfect for us!"

"The hotel is new with comfortable beds and pillows and good air con. The rooms are large and look out to wonderful views of the limestone cliffs or river which runs alongside it. The scenery is absolutely spectacular and peaceful and the staff are ever so kind. The location is central to the main tourist attractions in Ninh Binh and the hotel provides complimentary bikes for guests to use making it easy to get around and to explore the surroundings. Outside there are so many beautiful places to sit down or relax in the pool. This is a wonderful option if you are looking to stay in the heart of Ninh Binh."

"The workers (2 young men) who worked in the reception and kitchen were overly nice friendly and super helpful. The retreat is very beautiful and lust but it’s so far from the Tam Coc main city, very excluded and quiet property. The bungalow we stayed in was nice but small. We stayed in the 1st one of the 3 bungalows in the same section. The AC didn’t work well and the drain in the restroom smell so badly. The balcony to view the pond is nice but so small we didn’t go out there plus it was so hot n humid. The place came w/ free breakfast but the food was just OK even when we had lunch there, it was OK. Ninh Bình is an absolutely city! I fell in love w/ the place and the nature. I will come back again but stay at a hotel closer to the city for easy access and walkable to restaurants and shops."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Vu Hotel. The hotel appears to be family-owned and operated, and the personal attention and hospitality really stood out throughout our visit. The staff were incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. They arranged a private driver for our trip back to Hanoi, making our travel plans simple and stress-free. Breakfast was another highlight. The staff paid attention to the little details and noticed how much we enjoyed the fresh mango. As we were eating, they replenished the mango, filling another plate with fresh slices, a thoughtful gesture that perfectly reflects their warm hospitality. They asked about our breakfast preferences and even prepared chicken pho for us. It was one of the best bowls of pho we had during our time in Vietnam. The laundry service was excellent and very affordable at only 50,000 VND per kilogram. Our clothes were washed, dried, neatly organized, and returned the same day smelling fresh and clean. Our room was clean and comfortable, with effective air conditioning and dependable WiFi. The hotel is conveniently located close to the main attractions, and Grab rides were easy to arrange, inexpensive, and arrived quickly whenever we needed transportation. If you’re looking for a clean, comfortable hotel with exceptional service and genuinely caring hosts, Vu Hotel is an excellent choice."
