"We found La Paloma Las Flores to be a charming, quiet place to stay. It's a bit of a walk uphill to get there from the waterfront, but it is very close to Vons and my husband (who has difficulty walking any distance) was able to use the local "Circuit" to get around for $4 per ride - and they pick you up and drop you where you want! The host was very accommodating to our needs. "
"really liked my stay here! only thing that threw me off a little was the fact that my door was a glass sliding door but other than that i really enjoyed my stay here. the staff are friendly and the lucky fox (restaurant attached to hotel) was very delicious and priced well. i also love that the hotel provides bikes for you to ride around the island on but i will admit ITS VERY HARD!! catalina island is full of steep hills and it was very difficult for me to bike around. i recommend getting e bike if you’re wanting to explore more but if you are just wanting to bike around the main strip you’ll be fine.
