"Lovely room and view. It was great to have a warm room with the gas log fire on when we arrived. Loved that the spa bath faced the window with the view."

"Super huge room and gorgeous bathroom. Stylishly restored hotel. Great location. Wonderful staff who were so helpful. Enjoyable meals in the restaurant. Be aware that there are many stairs and no lift. Bathroom needs storage and more hanging space in the bedroom as there is no wardrobe."

"Spacious accommodation, gas fire lovely on chilly winter nights. Kitchen was well equipped if you wanted to cook, no oven but had elements and microwave. Coffee plunger, ice bucket were a nice touch. Clear instructions on how to operate TV, spa, fire."
