The cabin is a thoughtfully designed self-contained pod, built with natural materials, plenty of nice design touches, and careful thought put into maximizing a small footprint. "Charged me £30 for apparently leaving the property in a dirty state! Scam artists. We left all the rubbish next to the bin and in better condition than others would. Treated it like our own home. Ridiculous to then try charge us months later"

"This was a lovely stay with a well stocked and appointed mini lodge to stay in a secluded and beautiful spot. I would say that the double bed is small for two adults and the wardrobe can’t open fully as the bed takes up most of the bedroom space- this doesn’t matter over a short break but may be hard for some couples that like more room. Perfect for a mini getaway but one must bring supplies as the nearest store is a ten minute drive."

"Following its recent refurbishment, The Tarbet Hotel blends historic elegance with modern comfort in a stunning location, great for hillwalkers and couples. My only critique is that the dinner service was a bit slow and the menu felt like poor value for money, but we enjoyed the fish pie and chicken schnitzel. Breakfast was exceptional!"
