"We stayed here while traveling with our dog and chose a room with a kitchenette. After long days on the road, it’s really nice to arrive somewhere comfortable and relaxing, but unfortunately the room felt quite worn out.
The kitchenette could use some attention. The stove was very old, and the microwave was old and extremely noisy. There were only two large plates, which isn’t enough if you’re offering a kitchen. There were no dishwashing supplies, and the sponge appeared to have been left behind by previous guests.
The room itself also needs maintenance. The ceiling had many stains and uneven patches, the window screen had holes that were covered with tape, and the window would only close properly if someone pressed on it from outside.
Outside, it would be great to have a few more tables where guests could sit and relax. A barbecue would also be a wonderful addition.
On the positive side, the beds were comfortable, and the bedding and towels were clean.
With a few updates and better-equipped kitchen facilities, this place could be much more enjoyable, especially for travelers who spend long hours driving and are looking forward to a comfortable place to rest."
"Quick and easy check in, staff was great very friendly. Room went above and beyond, along with being clean the our room was big but really cozy, well furnished. Jacuzzi bathtub was a huge bonus we didn't notice on booking but was blown away! Amenities were great, good exercise room and very clean pool, no signs of mold that some older hotels can have. Nice and cold on the hot days and surprising deep!
Possibly the best hotel we've stayed at in the Maritimes"
"Nice clean spacious room comfortable king-size bed staff friendly at the front desk. Breakfast was OK. Typical free breakfast at hotels scrambled eggs, sausage soggy hashbrowns toast make your own waffle orange juice, apple juice lots of parking 10 minute walk to downtown."
"The main complaint was that the air conditioning made the hotel very cold. The dining room and bar were uncomfortably cold. Outside it was 31 degrees and inside may be 17. Our room was extremely cold and we had to actually heat the room to make it comfortable. Our room was down to 64 F.
The staff were very friendly and the food good."
