"Appalled by what I saw, mold on the walls, dilapidated rooms with absolutely no amenities. Checked out within an hour, didn’t get any refunds and to boot took Expedia’s commission as well. We should get back all of the money. Surprised Expedia gave them 3 star rating. If there’s a rating below zero that would be too kind."

"Unfortunately we couldn’t stay at the emerald. The ac was broken and we were only informed once we arrived. We stayed at their other inn which was not similar to the emerald and what our expectations were. Disappointed in our stay. "

"Train station about 2-3 kms away, close to old bus station where buses to Kumbakonam depart. Staff was very helpful in resolving a reservation issue "
