"They said the cooker was broken however we feel that they should have had someone to repair it asap. We understood there was no Tv or wifi but in this day and age anything is possible even if you have to raise the price. We were not told about electricity that it was a key meter it was only when an alarm was going off we traced it to electric box to find there was only 50p left on it we put key on and it added another £15 which went nowhere these are very expensive devices. "A nice hotel situated off the beaten track but convenient for those driving the NC500. The drive to get to The Drumbeg (I drove from Bettyhill) was incredible- and probably the highlight for me! The hotel was comfortable and had a homely feel to it but other comments of it being quite dated are right. Delicious home cooked evening meal but incredibly pricey- but seems to be the norm for hotels like these (small menu, well cooked, expensive). Hotel was quiet and had all you need for a quiet stopover."

"Lovely little stay while doing the NC500! Can’t recommend this place enough, so full of character and charm. Great facilities, lots of games, CD’s, books and small goodies in the kitchen. Didn’t need to use the log burner but I can imagine how lovely this would be in the colder months. Place was lovely and clean with a great shower too. The host is great, popped in to say hi and give recommendations too! Was just round the corner if we needed anything, offered more logs, laundry facilities etc! Would definitely stay again!"
