"Not much to complain about here. Just returned from 3 night stay. Our only complaint is the room was very dark . One side of the room had no lights at all and a lamp would have made such a difference. Breakfast had everything you could ask for and staff very helpful. Rooms are warm and cosy and very clean"

"Wonderful stay! My husband and I were here celebrating our belated honeymoon and 1 year anniversary, and everything about this place exceeded our expectations. The staff was kind and helpful from the moment we checked in. The food, much of which is sourced from their own farm, was delightful. The grounds are immaculate! We thoroughly enjoyed walking the gardens and hiking through the hillside. The spa is top notch and I highly recommend purchasing one of the spa packages. It was a truly magical stay and an experience we will never forget."

"Hotel staff were lovely and helpful, we had a lovely meal in the river room which was turkey and ham so delicious. Breakfast was great and plenty of choice. Our room was excellent a standard twin with two big double beds, the room was super clean. The fridge was great to keep drinks cool. The staff work so hard and are a credit to the hotel. Really enjoyed our stay. The reception was a lovely smell when you arrive. The only thing which was disappointing was the horrendous smell in the ladies toilets in the lobby. X"

"I would definitely stay here again- the staff were great, the beds were very comfortable and the breakfast was varied and delicious (i had porridge with honey the first day and french toast the second day- there was also cooked food available and a range of continental items). "Nice facility-friendly and helpful staff. The restaurant was very good. The spa was excellent. Centrally located and an abundance of self parking. The front desk was extremely helpful in finding us another room as the first one didn’t meet our requirements. It obviously is very popular/busy as a consequence it’s looking a little tired and worn. It could use some minor maintenance-eg paint, cleaning the grout in the showers, etc. We would definitely stay at the hotel again."
