"Exceptionally clean apartment. Well stocked, very modern and comfortable. We were in a ground floor apartment, our only slight disappointment was the poor natural light in the lounge area but did not detract from stay. Well located for central Ulverston and pay and display car park across the road."

"The restaurant was excellent although the service was slow as there was no Maitre d' at the door to welcome and we had to wait quite a few minutes to be seated. However, the waiter cleared a table for us efficiently upon request. The setting was perfect for our outdoor weekend: rapidly flowing river outside our window and lovely views into the valley. The room was comfortable and spacious fitting myself, my husband and grown son adequately."

"Wow! I was wo happy when I arrived at the Watch Tree after the long drive! It was pristine and had those lovely touches and attention to detail so you felt Steve and Jayne really love the place and want you to relax, which i did! The window/riverseat is a wonderful way to have some time out. There's loads to do locally, from walking, swimming, dining out and exploring local sites such as Conishead Priory, and the apartment is weĺl equipped for relaxing and eating in, too. The apartment was bigger than i expected, and the stairs were good for me! I highly recommend the Watch Tree, I felt it was a 5 star stay! "
