"Some travelers forget they are visiting a foreign country and overlook local conditions, policies, & environment. Many common complaints can be avoided by reading details planning ahead, and communicating clearly. I believe in forming my own experience —and I’m so glad I did. My experience was a 10,000/10. The staff and service were exceptional from start to finish. Everyone was professional, patient, and made me feel comfortable throughout my stay. Juma, the Front Office Manager, arranged my round-trip airport transfer with Emanuel who shared local history along the way. Juma clearly explained my package and handled a small misunderstanding on my end with patience and helpful solutions. Consolata, the receptionist, welcomed me warmly and made me feel at home immediately. I arrived early, and she personally showed me around the property while sharing its history, which I truly appreciated. Ramso, my butler, was outstanding—attentive, calm, and genuinely caring. When I had a room issue (my mistake), he went above and beyond to ensure my comfort, moving me to a room that exceeded expectations. I would absolutely request him again! Chef Mohammed delivered excellent meals from breakfast to dinner. The food was fresh, authentic, healthy, and flavorful, and his passion truly shows. Overall, I loved the scenery, privacy, cleanliness, safety, and peaceful atmosphere. Fruit & Spice is perfect for relaxation and exceptional service. I highly recommend this resort. — LissaKayy "

"I stayed for three nights as a solo traveler in one of the garden suites. Overall, I think this is an excellent resort that is affordable, clean, with a gorgeous beach very friendly staff I did not do full board but was able to order off the lunch menu for dinner and overall the food was good. I saw snakes, huge centipedes, lots of different species of fish, hermit crabs bush babies, and other types of lizards. I think this would be really cool if your child is into animals. If you’re interested in snorkeling, bring your own mask. There is only one at the resort and it’s quite scratched up. Also- bring sunscreen as it’s $50USD at the resort. Also, the beach is not really accessible if you’re handicapped because the one stair to the ocean is several feet from the sand and you have to jump off of it. The hotel is only about 30 minutes from Stonetown in the airport which makes it really convenient if you are only there for a few days. I had a massage, which was excellent. I booked through Expedia so I got 20% off of spa service and a free drink. I will definitely be back with my family. "

"We had a wonderful stay at this property. It was beautiful, peaceful, and perfectly located within walking distance of all the major spots. The hotel also offers a trolley service to the beach, and for other destinations, transportation is available for a small fee, which was very convenient. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. I appreciated the laundry service, enjoyed spending time by the pool, and felt well taken care of throughout my stay. Upon arrival, we were welcomed with a DJ, which created a great first impression and set the tone for a relaxing and enjoyable vacation. "Good standard of cleanliness in rooms, beds turned down every night, as well as spraying with repellant every evening. All team were super friendly, especially Joyce, Generozza, Happiness- all first class. Pascal-head chef, always wanted feedback to ensure all food met expectations- which was varied, fr3sh and really tasty. Would highly recommend and would certainly think about coming back."
