"The hotel is older and it shows but that’s not a negative since it was clean and the beds were comfortable and most of the staff were so nice and accommodating.
The reason for the 3 stars is because of how we were treated by 1 employee.
I came downstairs to get ice and the machine wasn’t dispensing any. I went to the front desk and there was no one there, but the door was open to the office and there was a woman sitting there and she was eating her dinner which is totally fine since she was the only one who was working you gotta eat. I had no problem with that at all.
The problem began when I said hey excuse me and the way she turned around and looked at me, made me feel like I was in trouble with my boss, but I actually have to ask her “Oh I’m sorry am I bothering you, is there someone else I should be talking to? And she side deeply and said “that’s OK. What do you need? “ I asked her about the ice machine and she said oh yeah that’s out of service and I asked if there was any other ice machines in the hotel and she said no. Which is fine, but there was no “I’m sorry for the inconvenience” or just an acknowledgment that that could be offputting to guests. So then I just asked if I could have some extra coffee packets and cream and sugar packets for my room and again she side very deeply, took a breath and stood up, grabbed them and kinda tossed them to me where I have to bundle down and pick one of them up. That exchange really spoiled my stay. Hotels should be known for"
