"We were served clean towels and trash emptying every day after I requested this service at the front desk when we arrived. The staff was very friendly and cordial when fielding our requests. The pool and exercise areas were clean and stocked with towels. We felt comfortable and secure in using these areas. Adequate free parking was available to us. Great location with good restaurants and Krogers nearby. The Hampton by Hilton Dearborn/Detroit was rated as a 2 star hotel but it clearly should be rated higher. I would give it a 3 star or 4 star. The only bad thing was I only saw one luggage carrier and that one was not available to us one the day we checked out."

"Dirty hallways, staff wasn’t as nice, when I arrived to my room which was a 2 queen bedroom it only had 1 towel & as soon as I request some more he brought out only 1 more & I had to tell him to provide me with more since I have 2 kids, dirty pool, kids running up & down the hallways at 12am at night, not enough water pressure to shower, overall I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE! "

"Overall good! Breakfast didn’t have many options but I appreciated having whole milk. The hotel and room was very clean and spacious. The fridge didn’t get cold and the pool is way too small! The staff was very friendly and accommodating, parking was convenient. Location not so great but overall good hotel. "

"Didnt pay for the breakfast but there were so many things wrong with this hotel, I definitely will not be back. The staff were all very friendly, but also not very good at their jobs it seemed. The condition of the property is run-down. Nothing seemed to really work the way it was supposed to. The tv remote barely worked, weather was warm for our visit so we wanted to turn the AC on in our room but I guess the AC actually only turns the heat on? We kept trying to turn the ac down and the heat just kept blasting from our vents - our room was at a steady 80 degrees the whole stay - it was terrible. The next morning I headed down to the pool/hot tub around 7:05 .. (pool opens at 7) whoever was in charge of "cleaning up" had the door locked and told me to wait.. so i waited - he let me inside but i had to sit at a table & wait for him to finish up whatever he was doing with the hot tub. Once he left and said it was all ready i noticed the hot tub was absolutely filthy. A thick film floated on top of the green water. The pool was green and murky. There was trash here and there and zero towels. The whole stay was just not worth what I paid at all. "

"Started off rough. Our room smelled like perhaps it was an old smoking room and there were stains in the carpet. Then our TV was busted (as if it had been punched) so I went to say something to the staff. They knew about the broken TV and had reported it days prior and. She said she thought it had been taken care of before letting me know their new maintainence man is part time. After switching rooms though we were happy enough with our stay. The new room felt cleaner and everything worked. Breakfast was pretty decent but the orange juice was...off. The whole family commented that the orange juice not only tasted watered down but there was something not quite right about it. Otherwise everything else was pretty good. Bonus plus is that the pool felt like it was nearly 100 degrees. It felt like bath water and that was pretty great. "

"This hotel was horrible, i stayed here years ago and it was very clean.Now.. upon entering and setting my bags down , I encountered a few small roaches , I tell the front desk about it and they didn't do anything. There were crumbs on the bed.The top sheets were not changed nor clean.The mirrors were filthy.It was just an awful experience.Overall , I would never stay here again"
