"Check in took a very long time with only one person in front of us. Very confusing information about where you can and can’t park. Most of the parking for the hotel is 3 blocks away which was not convenient at all. "
"It’s not terrible but it hasn’t seen any updates in a long time. Extra charge for more than one person which was new for me. It was an extra $10 for my wife to stay in the same as me. I didn’t like that. No coffee machine, no cable, no cups just really lacking a lot of normal amenities. It was very outdated but the room was relatively clean. Barely any hot water which was rough.
The staff that i interacted with had a very difficult time communicating English well. They were friendly but really couldn’t speak to them at all. I would stay there again if I had no other options. Otherwise I’d keep driving and try another motel. It’s a shame because it’s in a nice spot and could be a very nice little motel."
"We stayed for a two night staycation. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The pillows could use updating. The shampoo, conditioner and body wash were great. There was no body/hand lotion at the sink. Since this is a boutique hotel, it would be nice if real glasses and ceramic coffee mugs were in the room and not paper/plastic. The same goes for the breakfast room. Paper plates and wooden utensils cheapen the experience. The breakfast selection was pretty good. They had grocery store croissants. There are many local bakeries that I’m sure would love to provide their product for visitors to enjoy. It would also help promote the local businesses. The his hotel is a heritage building, so I think it should be a little fancier. Word of mouth is important, when it comes to tourism."
