The Romance parish church St. Korbinian has given distinction to the townscape since it was built in the 13th century. Not only the yellow bricks but also its 30-yard high tower are highly visible. Be sure to visit the inside to see the original church bell from 1559 while on your city trip. Two more bells have been added throughout the years to bring the total to three. The inhabitants of Unterhaching are extremely proud of their church bells. Until the year 1972, they were still rung by hand.
Right at the border to the neighbouring municipality lies the Water Tower of Unterhaching. The tower radiates the same yellow colour as the church, was built in 1905 and fully refurbished in 1999. With its bright red tiled roof, it presents the perfect backdrop for a holiday photo — especially in the sunshine.
