"We stayed on the top floor with our guest from home country, Japan. We had some concerns about bed bugs based on past reviews, but we didn’t see any signs and had great time with fantastic view.
Some tips: there is no elevator and no dedicated parking place."

"We had a beautiful view of the Eiger from our room. The breakfast was good and there's a grill next door for easy dining. It's less than a 5 minute walk to the train station. They provided us a free bus pass to Grindelwald town. There's a Migros supermarket and Raifeisen Bank ATM in the train station if you want cash."
"Where to start.....this is obviously a low budget hotel that caters to large tourist groups arriving by bus. The lobby and dining areas are reasonably attractive. But when you get to your room you go down a dingy hall and arrive at a grey cement stucco room. It is furnished with the cheapest furniture possible. Nothing to warm the room up in terms of any kind of color. There is no art on the walls. No rugs. My impression was that the best way to clean the room would be to simply hose it down. They are definitely nickel and diming you - you don't get even a glass to drink water out of. You get one cheap plastic glass. The duvet and pillow covers were fine but the actual bottom mattress sheet was substantially a cheaper quality. I think it was about to pill. The breakfast was disappointing. I got scrambled eggs. At least I thought they were scrambled eggs. But they were some kind of ersatz fake nightmare. So on to the fruit - the pineapple looked like it have been wheeled out for days. Everything was canned. Children were sneezing onto the food everywhere. But the surprise is that they put salad greens out. This was a first for me. To see salad greens for breakfast. Maybe I should have had salad for breakfast because the rest was unpalatable. And due to the high volume of people they were having trouble staying on top of keeping it clean. Bottom line, I would never go back to this hotel. But the people working there were very nice. This inferior hotel is way overpriced."
"I had a great experience with the Aparthotel Krone! It is self check-in, which I had no problems at all. I just had to check my expedia messages where everything is communicated. It was easy to message with someone, they always responded. It is located in Unterseen which is by the train station Interlaken West (8 min walk). Still extremely close Interlaken and walkable to Interlaken Ost (maybe 20 min) Unterseen is the cutest town with everything you need! Honestly a fantastic location and I thought the price was very reasonable for how expensive the area is. It had everything we needed. It was clean, has AC, bed was pretty comfortable and had a cute outside balcony to enjoy. Would definitely recommend!"
"I made a mistake while booking and I couldn’t make it on the date of checking in. It happened to me while I booked for Cancun trip as my flight was over night so I booked extra day to make sure I can check in whenever I needed. However this hotel sold my room to other people because I didn’t come on the first day. I even used Expedia try to contact them but on the day I arrived, they said they have no room, my daughter is 1 year old and crying because she is hungry and need to change diapers. Front desk lady instead of help me, what she said was can you please control your child. Very helpful :) and until another girl come to help us, I thought I would have to rep on the street."
"This hotel is a complete disgrace. It has been abused by a bad remodel after bad remodel, a total disgrace to a once former beautiful hotel. I would not recommend this place at all, please don’t waste your time or money. This was our first stop in Switzerland, and it was a complete let down. The wall paper was peeling off the wall at every seem and it looked like everything there was a bandaid to a previous bandaid problem solve… if only I could add pictures to this.
Don’t expect any amenities, or quite frankly anything at all. The bathroom offers all in one shampoo and body wash in a small cheap sample packet, the towels are raggedy and the trash can is an actually paint bucket or something close to it, no lid.
Surprisingly the mattress isn’t totally uncomfortable but it’s hot as hell if you’re visiting during the summer months. There’s no air conditioning, only small portable fans. This is also a loud location located right next to the train station. I personally could get any sleep.
You can chalk up this review to - we got burned so don’t let it happen to you…"
"Overall okay stay. Amenities were minimal. Breakfast was good, location great and staff helpful.
A good option for a affordable stay in the area that meets your needs."
"could not recommend a better spot to stay. be aware- it’s at the top of the hill so if you plan to bus and walk your luggage to the hotel it’s a lot! but SO WORTH IT. we had a balcony room with the most amazing views ever and all the farm animals. I felt like I was dreaming. 10/10 so happy to be stayed here and would literally spend a lifetime here if I could"
