Hotels with Restaurants in Uswetakeiyawa

Booked very last minute, yet the hotel arranged airport collection. We arrived around 10.30pm and were quickly shown to our room so we could get to bed. The hotel put great effort into preparing a Sri Lankan breakfast and made sure we had tea and fresh fruit. Highly recommend Aloe Hotel as an airport hotel.

Away from the busy tourist spot. Quiet and relaxing but also nothing much to do there. Excellent service, very friendly and helpful staff. Love the breakfast.

Excellent modern property! A delight to stay here….excellent views of the ocean too. And walking distance to almost everything. The drop off/ pick up arrangements are weird with multiple levels of lobbies but that is the architect’s fault….not the hotel’s. We will definitely be back

An excellent experience staying with this new hotel. Good facilities, good dining options and service. Staff tried their best and I am confident that they can get only better. Good job and finally, a good hotel in Colombo that I like.

Marino Beach Hotel exceeded expectations. The staff provided exceptional, warm hospitality throughout our stay, ensuring every detail was handled with genuine care and absolute professionalism.

A place with history, nice architecture. Very nice room with direct ocean facing window. Can open windows and stay off-aircon with fan. Nice small private beach and seawater pool to swim. Unfortunately the LED lighting in the rooms has flicker/strobe effects (reason is the cheapo ac/dc converters built into asian consumer grade lights), this has a subtile stress effect.

Check in staff is good. Breakfast staff is alright. Room is clean but floor is a bit sticky. No sea view which is a pity. Breakfast spread is alright.

Outstanding! Andrew and the team were so welcoming, Lake Lodge is the perfect oasis from the heat of Colombo. Rooms are beautiful and well equipped, the food is excellent and the staff are brilliant.

Our all-too-brief stay was simply magical at Villa Hundira. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel at home. We booked the lagoon suite, as a way to round off our trip travelling around Sri Lanka. It was totally worth it. The villa itself is a treat for the eyes - little nooks to relax and read in, beautiful decor throughout, and complete peace wherever you go. The room was equally delightful - gorgeous interior design, a beautiful view of the lagoon and sunrise, comfortable bed and...

The main building is lovely. The bedrooms are well-appointed but actually rather cramped. The staff meet expectations but lack the charm and attentiveness to make the experience memorable. They seemed a little out of focus.

Outstanding

A tranquil retreat with amazing hospitality, kind staff, surrounded by the sea and lagoon, good food, restaurant with a view, well landscaped nature and also beautiful architecture by Geoffrey Bawa. Hope to be back again.

Clean room

It really is superb. An old colonial manor, beautifully converted into a hotel, capped with fantastic service. The rooms were spacious, very comfortable, and very quiet. My only regret was I could only stay one night. When travel back Sri Lanka, I'd definitely stay here again.

Very nice hotel. Great staff!

My favourite hotel in Colombo.
