"The service was beyond excellent. I am not used to older motels, but the young gentleman wish I remembered his name gave excellent service. He works the 3-11 shift. He was very friendly and when we had an issue he fixed it so quickly."
"I thought I'd already left a review - but I'm happy to leave another. This hotel was FUN to stay at. The staff were amazing and the room was delightful. The rooms are years 1953, 1980, etc.... and each room reflects that time and place. The place is definately retro and I loved it. I want to stay there again and recommend it and the staff highly.
It is delightful and well located, and the people are wonderful - very willing and able to help with anything you need or information you might want.
As I mentioned, if I am in that general vicinity again, I WILL stay there.... check out the Woodstock room! Water beds and all... hippy haven <3 And for any Elvis people out there - his lovely self is all over the place..."
"Stayed 2 nights. As many other reviewers have noted, this motel provides a very clean room and bathroom and the motel deserves to be proud of its staff and how hard thay work. Everything working as it should. Windows open easily with a modern flyscreen. Comfortable chair and bed. Very nice bathroom. No problem parking. AC works just fine if you need it. The exterior of the building and corridors are somewhat tired, but, a decent breakfast with a variety of options and a good night's sleep; it was good value for the money and l would definitely stay again."
"My superintendent who travels for projects throughout Colorado will only stay at Baymont when in Cortez. Thank you for being such a nice place for him to stay in..."
"We stayed a few days before Memorial Day weekend, and the end of their “off season.” Our room was fairly clean but the appliances (small fridge and coffee maker) did not work due to a bad outlet. Many of the sites were closed due to the off season and road repairs. The outside lights by the rooms were too bright for any sort of appreciation of their recognition as a Dark Sky Destination. Food in the Lodge was good but the bathrooms in the Lodge and Terrace needed some cleaning attention. Staff was friendly and helpful."
