"Silp-Pa Phra is an interesting place alright. First you arrive you think it’s an art gallery but they also have hotel rooms too. The hotel rooms have that art flair too, the room, the bathroom and shower are set out pretty good too. The outside area is very nice and has the tranquility of rural Thailand. I’ve noticed the staff are friendly and could not have been more helpful. If you come to Ayuttaya and need accommodation, I’d recommend Silp-Pa Phra to anyone."

Stayed for 2 nights while visiting monastries in Ayutthaua, Shinburi amd Angthong. Room is very clean. Facilities in hotel excellent. Buffet breakfast offers wide selection. Learned that the hotel is also a service apartment for Japanese workers in Ayutthaya, the live streaming of Japanese TV channels in the room is a big plus. I enjoyed the Japanese TV channels too because I know the language well. Room comes with a mini kitchnette with all the necessary cooking utensils to make a simple meal....

The owner has 4 units of 2 storey apartment side by side. We booked 1 of the unit for a night and fell in love with the accomodation and manicured garden and terrace overlooking the river immediately. The house was tastefully designed and the beds are comfortable and rooms are very clean. The river view in my room was fantastic. Love the reading corner within the room, I could just sit there for hours watching the boats sail past. Service staff were very friendly. Although the hotel doesn't have concierge service, the lobby staff helped to arrange for a guide and driver for me. However, they told me there's turn down service, but it only happened for one night (I stayed for three). While it is a minor issue for me, such thing shouldn't happen for the price they are charging.

If i could give a 10 star rating, i would. Seriously this is the cleanest accommodation i have ever encountered.. even better than many 5 star hotels! The floor was so clean you really could eat off it. The glass doors were so well cleaned i kept thinking i had left the glass doors open!
