Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Sunbury/Columbus North
2/10 Terrible
"Every “amenity” was either broken, out, or just plain dirty - no pool, no laundry, out of milk (every morning) for breakfast, no gym facility, lights not working in our room, but lights shouldn’t be an amenity. They should just work. Like your security lock should work. And your carpet should be cleaned. The hallways had crushed chips in the carpet - every day of our four day visit. Nothing was cleaned the entire time we were there. Most of the breakfast food was viewable all day long, so who knows how long it had been set out. This place was horrible three years ago when we were in town, but we thought we’d give it another shot because there are few options in this area and it was a holiday weekend, but it is still an abhorrent place. Do not spend your money here. These owners and Wyndham should be ashamed of themselves. Just because we paid less than other hotels doesn’t mean we should have to be okay with filthy and unhealthy spaces."
"The sheets didn’t seem like they were clean they had marks on them did find a couple of bugs, and the carpet was kind of squishy, meaning probably needs to be replaced. I thought they were supposed to be a continental breakfast, but there was none that I could find.
The area was kind of suspect a few people look like they shouldn’t be there and did not have rooms there that I could tell just sitting in the parking lot.
I asked twice to get clean towels. You only get one set of towels, one set and they did not come up to give me a new set until the following day which I’ve never heard of before.
I know this is one of the cheaper hotels in the area, but red roof standards have gone down apparently. I would recommend spending an extra 30 to 50 bucks to get a different area in place. I was going to Millersport to visit.."
