Our apartment didn’t have proper curtains so the room became light as soon as the sum came up - this was not ideal. Communication was difficult as, despite being advertised as speaking English, nobody understood us so we ended up having no hot water for 5 days because nobody could tell us that all we needed to do was switch it on!
