Overall our stay was very good.
The team and managers at front desk reception where exceptionally brilliant. Nothing was too much trouble. The manager of restaurant Ritesh was also excellent and his serving team.
We had a very bad experience one morning at breakfast. Which we raised, along with 5 other groups/guest tables.
The man in question was called Niraj, who was supervising restaurant that morning. We all saw that he could not manage the team or guests. When anyone complained he disappeared into the back for 10 minutes at a time. He also spoke back to a guest and told him to fetch food himself if available at the back.
The food dispensers were always less than a quarter full. The Massala tea was always cold or not available. On the last day at breakfast Niraj approached me and asked me to make a statement on a blank piece of paper to say I was happy with service. This is what shocked me even more. To approach a guest in this manner is beyond unacceptable. I refused! He was clearly scared. We’ve stayed in many Marriott’s and this time we were unhappy for the first time. But we felt we needed to keep a smile on our faces otherwise our time in Vadadora would be completely spoilt. We didn’t feel like eating in the restaurant after this, even though the offer of a complimentary lunch was offered by Ritesh.
2: one morning despite a do not disturb sign being on - laundry boy knocked /rang 3 times and woke us up. We did not request laundry. This was such bad service.
