Wir waren zu Anfangs von der altmodischen Zimmereinrichtung irritiert, aber haben uns auf das spezielle Ambiente eingelassen und sind total in die Entspannung gekommen. Die Betten waren fantastisch, ebenso das Frühstücksbuffet. Und die Lage, das Klostercafe, die friedliche Stimmung insgesamt waren wirklich eine Wohltat.

Fantastic location on the lakefront! Wonderful café with outdoor seating, offering a truly amazing selection of authentic Swedish pastries, cookies and cakes. The breakfast buffet was one of the most spectacular we have ever seen in Sweden during the past 25+ years, served in an ancient hall with arches and beautiful windows. And the free parking was right outside the door to our hotel building! FIVE STARS!!

Var där med min fästmö för Vätternrundan. Underbart tyst och lugnt läge med fantastisk inre och yttre miljö. Frukosten var perfekt med mer än tillräckliga alternativ. Extra plus i kanten var det trevliga samtalet från hotellet dagarna innan vistelse med frågan om jag önskade en nerpackad frukost inför loppet, om jag skulle starta tidigt. Det är service!

Rummen utspridda över hela vadstena. Lite märkligt att bo 10 minuter från byggnaden. Svårt att hitta rätt bland husen. Receptionen på ett ställe, boendet på ett annat, frukost på ett tredje. Gick fel hela tiden. Rummet fint och sängarna sköna.
