"The location was perfect on the edge of old town. I'd been through Chur many times but never stayed long enough to wander around; it was charming. The hotel was just one stop from the main station on an [seemingly] hourly train and a 10 min flat to downward slop return."

"The property was well located in the center of town and next to many places to walk to for museums, transportation and local activities. Very nice breakfast as well. I think they received some negative comments in the past about the room quality but we found that they have seemed to upgraded everything. Two issues to note. Ask if they are doing repairs on the hotel (we had construction on the rooms next too us that started early in the morning. The workers were quiet but we had them right outside the window on scaffold doing external work, which meant no privacy. Next time we will ask this to make sure to avoid this. Also, the room was quite hot at the end of summer. The hotel advertised air conditioning, but read the small print, it is only in the suites. So make sure your fan is functioning in the room if you get a standard quality room (which is also quite nice). We did enjoy our stay."

"Hotel is not yet a year old. Staff were helpful but still a bit slow in service. Having food available at the hotel, given its location, was very nice for travelers like us without our own transportation."

"Very clean, convenient location to the bus lines. The directions from one of the desk clerks were vague and hard for us to follow. There was no room for our luggage. We don’t need a lot of amenities, but a few would have been helpful!"

"Great location, just a 5 minute walk to the tourist office, museums, restaurants and the center of town. Delightful cafe with an excellent breakfast. The rooms are large and well appointed. Mine had a nice balcony with a view of the castle. The weather was unseasonably warm but the large ceiling fan worked perfectly. There is a comfortable gathering room with couches, tables and chairs along with self service beverages and games. I would definitely stay here again."
