"We stayed at Flisvos Hotel as a convenient stop before an early ferry to another island. For a one- or two-night transit stay, it met our expectations. The owner was friendly, and the room was clean. The bed was comfortable, the A/C worked great, and the blackout curtains made for a good night's sleep. Amenities included a refrigerator, hot water kettle, free parking, safe, desk, nice TV, complimentary coffee the first morning, and a pleasant balcony. As frequent top-tier Expedia travelers, we often receive room upgrades. We were disappointed when the receptionist told us that because there were only two of us, we wouldn't be upgraded to a larger room, despite availability. Traveling with two large suitcases, two carry-ons, and two backpacks, the extra space would have been appreciated. The biggest drawback was the bathroom. The shower was very small, only partially enclosed, and had a handheld shower wand at waist height with no wall mount, leaving the floor very wet. Breakfast was an issue - no protein - no restocked. Guests arriving later missed out on eggs, cheese, and meats, and the fruit was past its best. The location is outstanding—just steps from the ferry port, beach, restaurants, cafés, markets, pharmacy, and shops. Everything is easily walkable, making the location a 10/10. Overall, this is a clean, comfortable hotel for short stays or ferry connections, but we'd choose another property for a longer vacation."

"Very nice modern property. We had a balcony that overlooked the ocean . No air condition needed since there was a nice breeze if you let the balcony doors open. We did not have a parking problem . We had two cars that we could park in front of our apartment. If you want a peaceful and a quiet place this is your place !"

"Amazing stay and amenities. Very accessible to the beach, actually privately accessible with our own umbrellas and sun beds. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. The beaches were amazing. Also, if you want to see other attractions, get a rental. I had a great massage. I recommend booking it in advance because sometimes it can get a little full. The only thing negative was the breakfast not having eggs to order. That would’ve been nice"

"OMG we LOVED staying at Stella's traditional inn. It was so quaintl you felt like you were a guest in an old greek village home, with all the modern amenities. Eg: the bathroom light was an old revamped oil lamp. Water pressure, excellant and even loofah;s available; cool and breezy under pine tree shade when Kato Sakros was boiling, and All windows and door were with screens to protect from mosquitoes. It was so peaceful and quiet you could hear your thoughts and sunrise over the ocean view from our porch was amazing. The staff was professional, flexible and exceptionally welcoming and friendly. The recommendations were spot on! Wifi was the best we had in all of Eastern Crete! Honestly, we should have stayed longer, and plan to return. We were lucky to have found it available. Bravo for the work you have put into the operation, and thank you!"
