1. Camera 40 - In Gorgonzola

Gorgonzola

"I was surprised to see that it was a shared kitchen with one other guest. The bed wasn't comfortable, old mattresses. The place was clean, not quiet due to children playing all day outside. The owner also texted me that I had to check in by 19:30 which made it very difficult, but he eventually agreed to meet me at 20:00. Also, the owner insisted on taking a picture of my passport. This I found to be odd and suspect. Be careful."

"We had a great experience staying at Academia Resort for our short stay in Bergamo. The room was comfortable for what we needed and had a great nights sleep after a long day of walking. All the staff were very friendly and welcoming. From providing information of where to go for the sights to enjoying a buffet breakfast in the morning, everyone took the time to make sure we were ok. The location was well placed to enjoy both Citta Alta as well as Citta Bassa. We'll have no hesitation in...

Top Vailate Hotel Reviews

Hotel Canova

8/10 Good

"If you’re looking for a decent place to stay near Milano Centrale for a night or two, this place qualifies. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was modern and well designed, and the WiFi worked fine. But there were no English channels on the TV and there were long black hairs on my bedside table and on the toilet seat. I could not find any way to keep the do not disturb light on when I left the room so I told the front desk I did not want cleaning. But when I returned that evening, my room had been cleaned. This is a serious privacy issue, IMO. Perhaps the worst issue was the thin walls. They were so thin that I could hear every moan and gasp of the people making love in the next room. How this hotel ever got so many 10 ratings is a mystery to me. Clearly, it is no Taj Mahal."

10/10 Excellent

"This was a fantastic option for our large family group. We had a two bedroom apartment which was incredibly well equipped and well maintained. The staff was excellent and very kind to the children. The pizza restaurant was fantastic. And the location was incredible, just steps to the duomo."
