"New property, there are three separate lodge houses. It's on the main road that circles the island. My house had a full size frig, 4 burner gas stove, microwave, full sink, cable channel TV, strong wifi, ceiling fan in the living room, nice bathroom and AC in the bedroom. "My stay here was just what I was looking for. Quiet, solitude, and total paradise. Max the host was very communicative, helpful, and accommodating. The food was great, beds were comfortable, and the bungalows were spacious. The view from my bungalow was 10 out if 10. The water there is unreal. Shallow lagoon all around the small island was teeming with marine life. Including black tip sharks in the morning, rays, and I even saw a giant moray eel and octopus. So cool! If you’re looking for a quiet getaway to unplug this is hard to beat. If you’re looking for nightlife and more activities you’re better off staying at a large resort. But they had paddle boards and kayaks which was great. Too shallow to do much swimming but there were day excursions that you could plan for snorkeling and a trip to the Tahitian pearl and vanilla farm. Amazing! I’ll definitely go back "

Loved Raiatea Lodge Hotel

"The Raiatea Lodge Hotel was very clean, quiet, and accommodating. The staff was friendly and helpful. The food was very good. We stayed five days and had a lovely stay. My only disappointment was that we had to cross a road to get to the ocean but the snorkeling was incredible as well as the sunsets!"

"This place is beautiful. The sounds of the birds the beauty of the plants, the view from the bungalow, all excellent. I like being in nature and this was like being in nature while still having comforts of home. The bathroom itself was gorgeous with a skylight, lava rock and plants. The man squiring net around the bed really works well. The owners took us on a boating trip to snorkel and it was divine. All very restful."
