The cozy place is more a chalet than a hotel, made for skiing tourists. The staff is very friendly and handles all requirements very professionally. The room is clean and cozy, but small. The breakfast buffet was way better than expected (baguette bread, toast, croissant, boiled eggs, ham, cheese, marmalade, orange juice, apple juice, coffee, espresso, cappuccino, just to name the key items). Right across the street there is a public parking garage for free. For summer tourists this place is definitely worth to stay.

Great location and decent sized rooms in comparison with some other places I have stayed in Val D'Isere in previous years. A big negative though was noise... the walls between rooms have very little soundproofing meaning that noisy neighbours make their presence felt! In our case a large group who liked to party at 2.30 am meant we got very little sleep. The hotel did its best in trying the get the other guests to show consideration, but to little effect.

Les Crêtes Blanches is an old, dirty and uncomfortable family run hotel. It claims to offer a savoyard family home experience but to deliver that it needs a major renovation of the entire building and an serious upgrade on bedding and bathroom standards. At 400€/night, it is way below market standards of cleanliness and comfort. It's a good example of an establishment taking advantage of high demand to charge whatever they feel. It isn't worth more than 150€/night, and I'm being generous. And to be consistent, customer service is at the same below standard level.

Hôtel non recommandé !

Pas de télécommande pour allumer la télé, réception fermée à partir de 20h, la réceptionniste ne s’en est même pas excusée le lendemain !! A mon avis l’Hôtel est en roue libre en saison d’été ! La veille j’ai eu une chambre avec matelas percé et ressort apparent ! Elle ne s’en est pas excusée non plus !
