Valencia Conference Centre

Valencia Conference Centre
A modernist architectural gem designed by Norman Foster, one of Spain’s largest conference centers is easy to get to by rail, sea, road or air.

Having recently celebrated its 20th anniversary, the Valencia Conference Centre is proud of the 2,600 events hosted here, making Valencia a destination for conferences from around the world. Built in 1998 as one of the best-known works of award-winning British architect Norman Foster, it has as recently as 2018 been hailed as the world’s best conference centers. Notice the distinctive hyper-modern, brutalist-inspired forms that now serve as a landmark. Visit for a sense of future and possibility created by welcome collaboration.

Spend some time outside the building, where thin concrete columns hold up a wide awning. Big events mean special exhibits may be set up outside. Wander from tent to tent in search of information or simply to mingle with the people behind the tables.

Inside, visit the three major auditoriums to get a sense of the scale of events that can be put on at the conference center. The main auditorium can hold 1,481 people and be connected via video and sound link to people located in the two ancillary spaces. Try the food, which is inspired by Spanish flavors and ingredients. Log on to the internet in the cybercafé or get ready for a performance in the break-out rooms and speakers’ rooms.

Explore the surrounding neighborhoods or even the center of Valencia, which is easily accessible from the northern neighborhood where the center is located.

Get to the Valencia Conference Centre with a 10-minute drive from Valencia-Manises International Airport or in 50 minutes via public transportation. The site is a 10-minute drive or 25-minute bus ride from the main train station in the city center. Drive from the port, which has passenger connections throughout the Mediterranean, in 20 minutes. Valencia’s public transportation system is robust, making it easy to reach the conference center from most places in the area. Use the metered parking on site.

Numerous hotels are located within walking distance of the venue. Contact organizers online for more information about booking an event.
