Nice place close to the main square

Nice place close to the main square with a parking option behind the hotel. Served the purpose and the beds were very comfortable. We left early so they prepared a lunch box for us which was simple but delicious and came handy while driving to our next stop. I would go again!

Very nice hotel, very convenient to reach the main square of Valladolid. Bianca, one of the receptionist, has been very professional to suggest us the best areas to visit and some good places for drinks and dinner

A very cozy place to stay, the parking is about a 4 min walk away from the hotel, but overall, its a great place to stay. We just stayed for one night, a place to rest our heads for the night, its a great spot overall. Walkable to Valadolid square.

Great Space, Lacking in Customer Service

The family suite at Casa Hipil was perfect for our family of five (double bunk bed + queen bed) and we loved having access to a kitchen. The location of the hotel is great, just a few blocks off the main square. I’d recommend the hotel to other families but would note that

We loved our two nights here in Feb 2024. We would have liked to stay longer but they wanted to charge us their regular rate so we had to move. We booked deluxe superior rooms which had a king and double bunk beds. Each room has a double bathroom and a small fridge. The tiny pool was perfect for a quick dip to cool off. We would highly recommend this hotel.

Budget below average hotel

This is a budget below average hotel with a good location. Staff is not helpful. The room was quite small. The breakfast is at a nearby hotel and not in the hotel itself. The staircase to the rooms is narrow. I wouldnt stay again.

Very bad experience…. honestly lousy My reservation very clearly specified 2 beds and 4 guests. Nobody believes the story that they received the reservation for 1 single bed. The hotel to which they "accommodated" me was of a much lower category than what I had chosen and paid for. $1,800 pesos for a hotel where customers hang their clothes on the railings is ridiculous. Breakfast another joke. They ask me to say what time I want to have breakfast. I specified 7:30 am because we had to leave at 8:30 at the latest to catch a flight. They asked me to choose what we were going to have from the menu. The next day it was 7:45 am. The cook had not arrived. They didn't even have the ingredients for ANY of the dishes we had chosen and they were barely going to prepare. Bad experience. Terrible way to solve a problem where you did not respect reservation logistics and customer service. Everything, absolutely everything was an abuse and a mockery

NOT what we paid for and i would like money back.

It started out good. Found the reservation and was about to pay when the price I has booked on Hotels.com was $1100 pesos less than the price they wanted, not an issue they accepted my price, I paid and then it started. The Superior room, garden view etc. suddenly was not available, water damage from the roof (they are in a drought) so we needed to stay in a room attached to the lobby which was an old storage room with no windows right on a very busy street. We refused and after while were offered a room in a sister hotel down the street. we agreed but wanted to see the room first, no problem but it was being cleaned and we would have to wait. we agreed and after 45 minutes it turned out the room Was clean and we could look at it but not occupy because previous guest had left something in the safe and was coming back in 2 hours. Really ?? it was now getting dark. this room was facing the same noisy street, had a window that couldn't be opened and was definitely not a Superior room. Old tired bathroom at the end of the complex where wi-fi didn't work. It was now getting dark and we didn't have any other options. They were very nice and polite but were clearly pulling a scam. it was several weeks ago and I'm still not happy. A partial refund at least was in order. The Hotels.com discount was to me the start of the problem as there was no mention of a problem with the Superior room until then. Beware and read reviews about being stuck in the broom closet next to the lobby.

Frustrating customer service.

This was a frustrating experience. Two weeks before my stay I saw had to leave one day early. I contacted hotels.com to shift the check out. I had a reservation fully cancellable until one day before arrival. They said they could put a note in the reservation to let the hotel know I was checking out early and that if they charged me the extra night to let hotels.com know and they would handle it. I had tried phoning the hotel with no luck. Finally I heard from the hotel via whatsapp, who said they could cancel and rebook my reservation. I said hotels.com had sent them a message to change the check out, and replied, great see you soon. So the hotel charged me the extra night. The guy who checked me told me he would talk to the manager. No luck. Before I left, I tried again. No luck. I was told their policy was no refund for early check out. Well this wasn't an early check out. I had alerted the hotel and hotels.com 2 weeks earlier. Hotels.com then told me that they could only refund the $ if the hotel agreed, and that they didn't. On an email I was told I could send the receipt showing the extra charge. I can't get the hotel to give me a receipt. I have emailed and messaged. Terrible communication. I don't want to leave a bad review but they don't seem to care so here it is. The hotel itself is decent. We were put in the next door hotel because room 1 has no window. There is a cute pool. The rooms are clean but basic. Breakfast is modest but ok.

Séjour mitigé, fermez la chambre 1 !!

Nous avons eu la chambre numéro 1 collée à la réception sans aucune fenêtre et par conséquent beaucoup d’humidité car aucune possibilité d’aérer. Au bout de quelques minutes nous avons demandé à changer de chambre et nous avons dû payer un supplément…. La seconde chambre était très bien. Le petit déjeuner très peu copieux, l’assiette de fruit c’est assez limité il y a 5 petits morceaux. Emplacement idéal et parking inclus.

Great location, super friendly staff, the breakfast is a few houses down in their partner hotel on the nice rooftop terrace. Depending on the location the room can be noisy because of the street.

Fair place to stay

It was pretty good in general. Location is close to the main plaza. Only small points to improve: shower head was clogged with mineral build up and the parking lot is an empty, unsupervised dark empty lot half a block away. This could have been better communicated.

El lugar es muy pequeño pero muy lindo. Son los mismos dueños de un hotel màs grande que està a media cuadra y el restaurante de ese lugar es delicioso y el servicio es excelente. Lo malo es que nos tocò la habitaciòn nùmero 1 que està justo frente a la recepciòn y se escucha ruido desde muy temprano y la ventana de la habitaciòn da a una boutique que està junto al hotel, por lo que no se siente mucha privacidad y se siente un poco encerrada la habitaciòn.
