Excellent location for Valletta tourism and nightlife but also not too noisy. Stayed in ground floor room which was a little dark, but mostly quiet. Shower was great. Occasionally there were faint drainage smells around the property but this could have been due to the work going on in the next building. Outstanding choice for breakfast, served in a vaulted cellar area. Friendly staff without exception. Would stay again and will recommend to friends and family.

Lovely hotel and a great place to stay and explore Valletta. The reception staff were extremely helpful and friendly and our room was ready early also. The room was very clean and spacious with a large comfy bed so we will definitely be returning to Palazzo Paolina hopefully in the near future.

Exceptional Service and Perfect Location in Valletta Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I recently stayed at Palazzo Paolina and cannot recommend it enough. While the hotel itself is beautiful, what truly sets this place apart is the incredible staff. From the moment we arrived, they were attentive and welcoming, taking the time to give us a quick tour of the property to find ourselves around. The level of service went above and beyond standard hospitality. When we ordered a ride, the staff actually came to find us in the lounge to let us know it was waiting nearby. Even more impressive, when we couldn't spot the car, a staff member came out to the street with us and phoned the driver directly to ensure we connected. That kind of personal care is rare to find. Beyond the service, the facilities were excellent. The room featured a powerful shower exactly what you need after a day of exploring and the breakfast offered a very good selection of options to start the day. The location is ideal; it is centrally located in Valletta, making everything easily accessible, yet it feels like a peaceful retreat. If you are looking for a hotel that combines a perfect location with staff who truly care about your experience, look no further than Palazzo Paolina.

What a fabulous boutique hotel the Palazzo Paolina is. Located on St Paul’s street perfectly positioned just off Merchant Street (near to the best gelato in Valletta) and only 10 minutes walk to the Malta Experience (a good pick up for out of city tours) and the e city gates. The rooms are comfortable and a good size - ours had a small balcony as well- and the bathroom was well equipped with great shower water pressure. Bottled water was provided every day and the room had a coffee machine and a kettle. Breakfast Buffett was available daily and provided hot and cold dishes. It catered to practically every taste. The staff were very friendly and helpful - no request was ever too much. Overall a gem of a hotel in a great location. Will certainly visit again!!

I spent a most enjoyable week here. The hotel was relatively quiet in an area convenient for most sights and local restaurants. Very comfortable room, good quality bed, but the carpet could do with a deep clean. Good sized shower room and nice toiletries. All the staff were extremely friendly and very helpful with suggestions and directions. I would definitely recommend.

My wife and I were on the 4th floor where there is a frosted glass landing outside the elevator by the door. Those of a nervous disposition, though, should not be put off. The bathroom was very large and clean, with the shower (having both an handle held and overhead shower head) being very enjoyable. The room facilities included a small fridge and tea making facilities, as well as easily controllable air conditioning and (we visited in August) 2 complementary bottles of water daily. The street outside the hotel was being used for ongoing work and deliveries for nearby buildings so wasn't what you might call picturesque. This by no means detracted from the hotel though, as a few steps either way once outside the hotel, provided access to side streets leading towards the town centre. Once of the bets things about the hotel as the fact that it was perfectly quiet and we were able to sleep soundly every night. The hotel staff were extremely helpful and assisted in arranging a taxi form the airport on arrival. On departure we took one of the excellent bus services. The Breakfast was a small but perfectly formed buffet served in the atmospheric basement. All-in-all a very pleasant and highly recommended hotel. Thank you
