"Lovely rooms with views and balcony, very helpful staff that moved our bags on Lycian Way for us (while we walked) and packed us breakfast for our early departure!"
"Large comfortable room, good bed, spectacular mountain and ocean views. Worth the rather hairy 30-40 minute drive from Fethiye. Has a small fridge. Hiking trail to Kabak beach is steep but ok. "
"Multiple miscommunication, no service. Hotel was empty and extremely was overpriced, they wanted to charge us extra for our friend who showed up to surprise us $140 euro after we paid $450 for our room, then after discussing with management they refunded us for that. Arrived to broken jacuzzi had to be fixed. The facility views are beautiful but not luxury for the price. No milk when asked. Most workers did not speak english. Alot of spider webs in our bathroom. "
"I will be making a complaint to Expedia regarding this hotel
They show different pictures this hotel is not as it’s shown on Expedia very poor service bad unsafe area dirty pillows broken jacuzzi broken toilet stained toilet seat insects everywhere not clean at all bad breakfast "
"DO NOT BOOK! They scammed me. I booked a room for 6 nights for my honeymoon and an hour before my flight they told me they only have the room available for 3 nights. They wouldn’t have told me if I hadn’t contacted them first. I was texting back and forth with them because I had already paid for 6 nights and was about to board my flight. I told them I wanted a refund they told me they would refund me. They never refunded me any of my money. I tried contacting Expedia they said they couldn’t...

Butterfly Valley Beach Glamping
8/10 Good
"There is good and bad at this location. Be prepared and you will enjoy yourself!
1. THEY CHARGE EXTRA FOR EVERYTHING WITHOUT TELLING YOU!! BE WARNED!! They will hold your passport hostage till you pay their extra charges. Bring your own scanned photocopy to give them. I was charged 150TL($5CAD) for a single cup of self serve, dehydrated coffee in an espresso sized cup.
2. Bring a water filter to filter tap water. Bottled is an extra charge.
3. The beach, tents and dinner are excellent and clean. Really enjoyed it. There was even an A/C unit in our tent. Very nice.
4. Location is a bit hard to get to. Shuttle boat from Oludinez beach is the best way, the booth location is near the steps to the beach, beside the main paved road T intersection coming into town. About 50m away there is a set of steps onto the beach. Booth has a red umbrella and is set apart from the other tours. The location it leaves from changes depending on wave action.
4. The property offers you breakfast and supper for a fee. The breakfast is mediocre, the supper is top notch. The supper alone is worth the money! Best we had in Turkey!
5. The Pirate ship tours bring a 1000 people for a few hours a day. When they leave it's peaceful. You'll love your time on this beach, and the sound of waves.
6. The restaurant turns into a loud night club til midnight or 1am. Bring ear plugs.
7. Go to the Migros and BYO lunch of bread/fruit/jam. Their lunch is very expensive. "
"Everything was fantastic during our stay!
Absolutely had the best few days and did not want to leave so soon!
All the staff were so friendly and helpful, checking in and making sure we wanted for nothing.
Considering how many people were obviously staying at the hotel, the main pool was always chilled and had beds, there was never a queue for a drink, and the dining room was never hectic.
We are just sad we didn’t get a chance to explore as much as we could because we were there for such a short time. But it was everything we had hoped for for a long weekend. "
"Stunning Views, But Completely Ruined by Poor Management
during checkout, Sabriye Hanım pressed us for the extra guest payment — even though we had asked multiple times for an extra bed and never received a response. Her tone was rude, condescending, and completely unprofessional.
She is running this beautiful place the management, particularly Sabriye Hanım, completely overshadowed it.
My wife reached out to her in advance via WhatsApp to arrange a small birthday surprise — just a simple dessert and message like other hotels graciously provided. Instead, we were sent a $130 sunset dinner setup not including food. When we clarified that we only wanted a small gesture, we received no response at all.
Upon arrival, rather than welcoming us, her first comment was questioning whether we booked for two or three guests. A close friend had surprised us in Turkey and joined us at check-in. We were immediately told we needed to pay $75 extra for the additional guest. We agreed, but their card machine wasn’t working.
The issues didn’t stop there:
• Wi-Fi never worked, and despite asking Sabriye Hanım multiple times, she ignored us. We had to ask a bartender for help, but it was never resolved.
• Room issues included non-working lights, which required us to be issued a new key, and a bathroom full of ants and bugs, which we didn’t even complain about.
• The hotel is poorly maintained considering we paid $320 per night — expensive by Turkish standards.

"The service at the restaurant (breakfast, dinner) was subpar. The service was lacking and needs major improvement. On the other hand, the Nautica Hotel had great service during breakfast and dinner. The difference was day and night. The Purdue property was beautiful and unique. I love the rooms but for someone who is afraid of insects And walking creatures, then look into Nautica Hotel The rooms at Purdue are more like camping huts and no matter how sealed the screened tent s are, Insects will end up finding their way in. All in all, Purdue Is a stunning hotel and the location is unmatched by the seafront and nestled among the forest trees. "
If a restful holiday is part of your travel plans, Kabak Beach might be the perfect place to visit during your trip to Kabak Valley. You can enjoy the restaurants while in the area.
