The only things that I didn't like were the low toilets, and the bathtub was very slippery when I was showering. They could easily put a bathtub mat in the bathroom and install grab handles in tub area for us old folks who are not really handicapped but could use a bit more support. We would definitely stay there again."

"Overall positive experience. Check in was a bit confusing as the sign upstairs said to check in at the cafe downstairs, but the cafe was closed and the sign downstairs said to check in upstairs. I loved the included full breakfast, but note that it’s only available after 9am. We left early the second day and checked out the utility room that we were told had some breakfast items for earlier departures, however it was completely empty of all food items so either a guest got greedy or maybe it hadn’t been restocked? The fridge and pantries were all empty. My dog was welcome at both the hotel and cafe, however he got spooked at the door of the room initially. We joked that it was probably haunted and he sensed something. Lovely place overall, just a few things to keep in mind."

"This was once a really grand hotel for sure. I think it’s probably around 100 years old and it still has a lot of original appeal. It’s a really cool very retro place to stay, I quite enjoyed my night there. Just be sure to eat before 9:00pm because nothing in town is open after that"
