"I genuinely don’t even know where to begin—this was, without exaggeration, the worst hotel experience of my life. What was supposed to be a magical trip for my daughter’s birthday turned into a complete disaster, entirely because of this hotel. Dream Castle Hotel advertises itself as a 4-star property, but that is beyond misleading—it doesn’t even meet the most basic standards of a roadside motel. From the moment we arrived, everything went wrong. After an exhausting eight-hour flight with two young children, we arrived hoping for at least a bit of understanding or basic human decency. Instead, we were met by the worst front desk representative I have ever encountered. She was incredibly rude, dismissive, and completely unwilling to help. She refused to let us check in even a minute before 3 PM—no flexibility, no empathy, nothing. My children were so exhausted they were literally sleeping on the lobby couch, and she showed absolutely no concern. The hotel itself is extremely outdated, poorly maintained, and honestly just dirty. Everything feels old, worn down, and neglected. The amenities are in terrible condition, and cleanliness clearly isn’t a priority here. At one point, I grabbed a sandwich from the bar and it was completely frozen inside with the frozen chicken you couldn’t bite on. The fridge in our room was not working upon arrival and when I called to fix it, it was not fixed at all ,nobody even came. Avoid this place at all costs."

"It’s a basic hotel that has all you need. I only stay in my hotel to rest my head for a few hours, shower and back out. It’s not a bad walk from the hotel to the park. Cheap and cheerful. Staff are helpful and friendly. The theming of the hotel is brilliant. A must for any cars fan. Breakfast had a lot of variety. I’d stay again, especially if on a budget."

"Shuttle bus was helpful. Outdoor play area was good for the children. Unpleasant smell on arrival at the reception area of the hotel. Definite wear and tear and a bit of TLC needed. Cleanliness was not good enough. Cobwebs all around the ceiling where it met the wall. Cutlery at breakfast was often dirty. Even when asked staff to clean table, didn't move any items on table and did a half hearted job. My daughter couldn't sleep the first night because she kept getting bitten. She was originally trying to sleep in the additional bedroom with bunk beds but had to come into the main room. For me, it did not represent value for money. We have stayed in cheaper 5* hotels that were far more luxurious. You basically pay for the proximity to Disneyland- this gives premium prices for a less than average quality. Breakfast was limited. My daughter's barely ate. The changing rooms for the swimming pool were closed. We were told a towel would be provided. We were given a tiny hand towel which didn't fully fit around an adult body, having to get from the pool back to our room with very little coverage."

"The room was not very clean and for what you pay for it, I was surprised, there was actual poo on the back of the wall by the toilet flush button. It got us into the park an hour early and it had AC it wasn't the lowest on the list. The lowest on the list is the Santa Fe but I guess they don't have AC. It has a washer and dryer two washers and two dryers. You have to get tokens from the general store which I liked that. The buffet was extremely over priced $150 for 3 people for mid food buffet. I paid that much to eat at Walts inside the park. Overall I am not sure if I would return to this hotel. We did get to go on all the rides we wanted to by going in early each day and it was only a 10 minute walk to the park. "

"This is a beautiful boutique French hotel, with superior linens, towels and friendly staff. My only complaint is that the listing indicated airport transfer, which I took to mean a shuttle. Instead, they, like nearly every hotel, arrange a taxi. The cost is 40 Euro - a lot for a 10-minute ride. Also, note the restaurant is not open Mondays, which is when I stayed so ended up not having dinner as no restaurants within walking distance. "
