Great hotel, clean, good amenities (lovely spa and lounge areas), big stylish room (comfort double with balcony) and helpful staff. Large amount of breakfast options as well - perfect start for our Alta Via 2 trek.

Amazing stay! We enjoyed our stay here as we explored the Dolomites. The room was clean and comfortable. We were lucky enough to get air conditioning even though it wasn’t part of the booking. (The family that checked in right before us was not as lucky…no AC.) The pool and hot tub was great even though the spa area is under construction. The breakfast buffet was incredible with many cold options and they offered eggs cooked to order as well. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a great stay here. Traditional Alpine 'House' Rooms a good size and with a balcony. Food too was very good, both evening and breakfast. Located in a small quiet village but not far from the main road, so not isolated. EV car charger too, so I was happy

I picked this hotel knowing it was not in the center as I wanted air conditioning and a separate room for my child (suite). We learned and the walls are not sound proof (as both were mentioned in the information section on Expedia). The hotels positive is the wait staff was acclimating and friendly. The breakfast was good, and it was as near the walking/biking trail to the old section of town which was quiet and nice). If it had air conditioning I would have given it a solid four stars, but as the day time temperature got to around 90 F it got a stuffy by late afternoon.

I have been at the Loewenhof every year once or twice, since 1993 (for 30 years). Have seen the upgrades, improvements in the physical installation, modernization of the rooms and services (pool, massage facilities) and dining. This time was my first time at the Loewenhof after the COVID19 issues. Personnel has changed, even the chef. The food quality has decreased. They used to have the best pizza in the area, but this time, it s different, lower quality. And the personnel is also new. Just checking in, I asked for 2 more days of staying, leaving the 3rd of December versus 1st of December. It was confirmed by the reception. But on the 1st of December, it appeared as not submitted and I was locked out. So, I had to extend the stay on the 1st, but after a while I got it at a completely different price (higher) and no excuses. And breakfast has old breads, hard breads versus our experience was to get fresh bread from the day: soft and even warm. After 30 years always using this hotel, I'm evaluating other options for my next trip in Spring'24. We were feeling like at home during 29 years, but this time it was different.

Der Wellnessbereich kostet auch für Gäste 35 Euro (ist leider nur ganz unten im Kleingedruckten zu lesen. Der Pool steht auch den Gästen vom Campingplatz zur Verfügung und ist dadurch von früh bis spät sehr voll. Der Whirlpool wird auch eher als Kinderplanschbecken genutzt und ist daher wenig einladend. Die Zimmer mit Blick auf den Campingplatz geben einem eher das Gefühl Teil der Camper zu sein (samt Geräuschpegel) und weniger Gast in einem 4 Sterne Hotel. Das Frühstück war eher mittelmäßig und auch keine 4 Sterne wert. Die Mitarbeiterinnnen an der Rezeption waren wenig motiviert oder hilfsbereit. Insgesamt war der Aufenthalt OK, hat aber nicht die Erwartungen erfüllt.

Bon emplacement si vous avez une voiture. la piscine est très agréable. Le petit déjeuner remarquable et inclus dans le prix de la chambre. L'hôtel est de très bon standing avec un seul bémol, il propose des places de campings donc éventuellement éviter la chambre avec vue sur le camping et espérer que ceux qui viennent à la piscine y respectent les règles de civilité.
