Two minor faults (sink plug not fitting and light fault in bathroom) were sorted quickly. "This was a great resort experience if you enjoy being pampered and presented with everything you need for an enjoyable vacation, like we did given it was our first time on Zakynthos island and didn’t know much about it. Amazing staff, beautiful rooms, great service. Pool and pool bar/restaurant was excellent. Concierge was very helpful. Nice short walk to the beach/beach bars. Now that we know more about the island we would opt for a more local/Greek experience next time, but this is a personal preference."

For our 25th anniversary, they surprised us with an upgrade from the standard Contessina Hotel to Contessina Suites and Spa and gave us a room with our own private pool, it was absolutely amazing. They also welcomed us with a bottle of wine and provided several great discounts throughout the hotel. The included breakfast was a highlight, with fresh-squeezed juices and a delicious spread I looked forward to every morning. But the best part?
