Hotel sits right off the dock at Vaxholm where the ferrys come in, so very conveniently located.. stunning views for all rooms having little balconies.. hotel rooms and hallways charmingly laid out to look like you're on a ship.. breakfast is wonderful and restaurant on street level has excellent local menu.. great leap off place for day trips via ferrys to islands such as Grinda and Svartso (Vaxholm itself can be accessed by car, is much more built up and is much less rustic than those two islands).

What a wonderful view of the water. The ferries were right out our hotel door. The hotel was very old but well kept. There were a lot of stairs to get up to our room. I definitely would suggest a balcony.

The hotel was very, very clean and up. Kept for being over 300 years old. I love the building and the surrounding area. Every place in town was easily walkable. Plenty of activities to do water in front for water taxi's. Transportation to surrounding areas very easily accessible and very cheap using water. And buses for transportation.

Gute Lage, schönes Zimmer mit Meerblick und alles sauber. Schöner Frühstücksraum mit Meerblick. Die Zimmerreinigung erfolgte nur auf Aufforderung. Mäßiges Frühstück mit nicht vorhandenem Service. Keinerlei Einführung zum Hotel. Infos zum Aufenthalt gab es nur über den Zettel auf dem Zimmer. Wohlfühlfaktor eher mäßig.

Kiva hotelli, mutta kaipaa remonttia

Kiva vanha hotelli hienolla paikalla, mutta hotellihuoneet kaipaavat remonttia. Huone oli todella saapuessani hotelliin, koska lämpöpatteri oli kiinni. Käänsin patteriin lämmöt päälle ja huone oli aamulla sopivan lämpöinen. Parvekkeen ovi falskaa niin paljon, että pakkasella huone on varmasti vetoinen ja kylmä. Ravintolasta on upeat näkymät!

Hyggelig sted, men litt slitt hotell og ikke så bra renhold. God frokost med vakker utsikt. Ikke så veldig god verdi for pengene, men greit sted å bo om du er på Vaxholm.
