Room was clean. We asked for a fan and it was no problem. The breakfast was lovely. This hotel is very close to the central station and walkable to everything. It is a small town yet lovely. Wevwouls consider staying here and making trips to Kalmer. We came from Copenhagen and it was a 2.5 hour train ride.

Wonderful location in the central area of Vaxjo. Close to the rail station, shopping, restaurants and walking/ biking trail We used the bikes to bike around the lake Växjö Cathedral was a few blocks away and worth seeing for its beautiful interior which incorporates glass in a creative manner I was able to do ancestry research at the house of Emigrants With this knowledge we rented a car for the day and visited where my grandfather was born and worked as well as the glass factories A wonderful visit

A ton of dust in those hard reach places. And our fresh room lacked comforters and a made bed. Nevertheless, the front desk was both prompt and apologetic to the situation. Breakfast was incredible.

A typical up-market "Stads" hotel in the middle of Växjö. Nicely appointed rooms, a nice breakfast buffet and easy parking on the city square in front of the hotel. If you like to have good food, please note that the Japaneses restaurant is closed Sunday and Monday. The next door pub is OK, but do not expect really good food or service.
