"It is important to understand that this is not a "hotel". There are two ground floor rooms (metal bars on the windows) with an intermediate kitchen area, access by code on the doors. There is a daily clean, bed being made, but no other "hotel" facilities. The front entrance on the road has a very discouraging appearance."

"Absolutely loved it! No question the best service and stay at any five star property that we have been at for the last three weeks in Italy. I wish we never checked out. Seriously.
This is a spectacular property – – and just a short distance from all the major sites without the congestion of being across from the Duomo or the like. Great breakfast and fabulous dinners whether you’re in the main restaurant or the “bar.”
