"The location was convenient for our trip. Definitely had a different expectation. Not well kept, bathrooms old and had mold in shower and around the door frame. Restaurant overpriced and limited. Front desk not helpful. Would not stay here again."

"Unfortunately when we stayed there were floods in the local town and the older folks evacuated to the hotel. No fault of the hotel of course and they did let us cut short our stay with no issues. The decor is dated but with improvements it could be a great place. "

"Love this place - we wish we had stayed here 2 nights instead of just 1. We got there late so were not able to enjoy the spa. Love the comfy sitting area in each room. The restaurant was fabulous - great dinner and service even though we got there close to closing time. View was nice. Really enjoyed this hotel! Highly recommend!!"

And we were spoiled by the excellent service. The rooms are dated, and lack convenient outlets for charging phone. Bathroom has an awkward placement for the toilet paper holder. But plenty of space for your stuff and the outdoor grounds are lovely even in early spring. "
"Unique hotel, but the staff need to be more customer service orientated. When we checked we were handed the key and no words came out of the mouth of the person who checked us in, we didn't know where to go to find our room. When I asked he pointed to a hall. We were also accosted by another worker when we were outside enjoying a drink in the garden area, she was very rude at first telling us we couldn't drink alcohol we brought, we had to buy it there. We didn't know there was a "rule" about it. Her attitude change when we apologized for not knowing and also let her know what a horrible experience we were having at their hotel. I wouldn't recommend this place to foreigners. "
