Bed was Ok. Shower water was warm at best. Nice little balcony but no bug screens. We didn't get mozzies but it was early October. Breakfast was good. Reasonable value for money.

Lido é ótima opção para ficar fora da muvuca de Veneza, num lugar tranquilo, mas charmoso. O hotel tem o charme da belle époque, e fica atrás do histórico Hotel des Bains, hoje fechado. Pertinho da praia!

The Byron is a hotel that has seen better days, so it fit's in well on the Lido, but it is clean & the staff are wonderful. We would definitely stay there again but request a bigger balcony!

Lage und Preis gut, aber in die Jahre gekommen

Super Hotel für ein paar Tage Aufenthalt in der Nähe von Venedig. Auf Lido selbst auch super z. B. für eine Fahrradtour und Strand sowie die Nähe zu den Inseln bei Venedig. Das Hotel ist sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Grds. sauber, aber manches lässt sich altersbedingt nicht mehr in super Zustand versetzen und müsste erneuert werden. Es ist sehr einfach gehalten ohne groß Komfort.

Hübsches Hotel in Strandnähe

Hübsches Hotel in Strandnähe in einer ruhigen Straße mit fußläufig vielen schönen Restaurants und Bars. Das Hotel ist perfekt für eine Kombination aus Strandurlaub und Städtetrip. Der öffentliche Strand sowie die Vaporetto Station Lido S.M.E. sind auch sehr gut zu Fuß erreichbar. In 20 Minuten ist man mit dem Vaporetto im Zentrum von Venedig.

Goede ervaringen met dit hotel, maar dit jaar kreeg ik allereerst een zolderkamer met airco ( die later bleek niet te werken) en daarna op mijn verzoek een mooie kamer maar zonder airco. Weliswaar met een mobiele ventilator, maar die bleek te weinig capaciteit te hebben. Er waren wel degelijk mooie kamers met airco, jammer dat ik die niet kreeg, misschien had ik meer moeten zeuren. Een gemiste kans van het Byron, want ik ben er al eerder geweest (toen waren de temperaturen wel lager) en ik heb al verschillende vrienden ernaar toe gestuurd. Nu had ik echt al in maart geboekt en toch niet de kamer met airco gekregen die ik eigenlijk had moeten hebben!

Okay for a cheap stay

The hotel itself was okay, probably what you can expect for a 3 star hotel. It wasn’t the cleanest and the air conditioning was actually a machine in the middle of the room which made so much noise you couldn’t have it on whilst sleeping. The staff never told me what time the breakfast was or anything else, just handed the keys and that was all. Breakfast was very limited to bread, cake, meat and cheese. No veggies and fruit was very limited. The staff also made me leave the key at reception every single time I left the premises, which was actually very annoying. Overall it wasn’t bad but far from great.

Hotel Byron soggiorno 3 notti

Hotel in posizione abbastanza tranquilla, ma comodo alla spiaggia in pochi minuti a piedi. A parte il check in, personale molto gentile. Struttura un po' antiquata, che avrebbe bisogno di un rinnovata (allo stesso prezzo si può trovare qualcosa in più altrove). Colazione assortita e gradevole. Pulizia giornaliera della camera ok, cin cambio asciugamani. Peccato che al mio arrivo le lenzuola non fossero del tutto pulite. Peccato il Wi-Fi non incluso in camera nel prezzo della camera.

Solo qualcosina da rivedere

La stanza aveva un bagno ricavato da un terrazzino verandato che aveva come porta d'ingresso, che divideva dalla stanza, una porta a vetri da terrazzo (che fra l'altro non si chiudeva) con una tenda... Diciamo che, per chi vorrebbe un po' di intimità nel bagno, non è proprio il massimo. Altro aspetto negativo è stata la quantità esagerata di zanzare che c'erano nella stanza, sicuramente è un problema di tutto il lido di Venezia, ma un fornelletto sarebbe indicato da portarsi dietro o averlo a disposizione dalla struttura. La colazione è stata buona e varia e sicuramente soddisfa sia chi preferisce il dolce che il salato. Il personale è gentile e disponibile.

Charming

The hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood of the Lido's residential area close to the beach, short walk to the stop of the boat service to Venice. It gives you the feel of the old world charm where you can relax and escape the crowded streets of Venice. It's a bit dated but shabby chic. My only complaint was an uncomfortable mattress, and also the breakfast could be a bit more diverse.

A lovely hotel

Overall it was a lovely hotel. We had a room with a balcony which was a bonus. The location was perfect, 5 min walk from the beach and 10 mins from the bus station. All the restaurants are within a 5-10 min walking distance which was perfect. Staff were very friendly and always happy to help. Breakfast was OK, the usual continental style. The only negative point was that the room did not have air con so we were forced to sleep with windows open meaning mosquitos and street noise!

Schoenes Hotel, nicht flash, aber angenehm. Nostalgisch, aber nicht altmodisch. +: man kann im schoenen Garten fruehstuecken. - sicher nichts fuer Hausstaubmilben- Allergiker und uebetriebene Sauberkeitspraktiker. Aber e scheint so Standard in der Gegend zu sein...

Zustandbeschreibung

Zimmer winzig - entspricht keinesfalls den Fotos auf div. Internetseiten. Wenn unser Zimmer abgebildet gewesen wäre hätte sicher niemand gebucht. Fenster kaputt - nur mit Gewalt zu öffnen. Zum Lüften des Bades Fenster in ca. 3m Höhe dadurch "stickig", keine ordentliche Ablage für Toilettartikel. In einem internationalen Hotel wo am Zimmer ein TV ist kann man erwarten das nicht nur (weit über 100) italienische Programme sind - offensichtlich ist dieses Hotel nur für Einheimische aber nicht für Touristen nach Venedig geeignet. Auf den Internet-seiten ist auch "deutschsprachiges" Personal angeführt - wir haben niemanden vom Personal getroffen der deutsch spricht. "Grabbeleuchtung" im Zimmer ausserdem keine Ablage für Gaderobe.

베네치아 본섬이랑은 다소 거리가 멀지만 수상버스를 어짜피 한번은 타보고 싶다면 숙소로 오며가며 수상버스에서 좋은 경험 할수 있는거 같음. 숙소가 있는 리도섬은 조용하고 꽤 많은 관광객이 있고 식당이 많아서 좋았음. 수상버스정류장과는 걸어서 10분안에 거리에 있음. 작고 예쁜섬이라 하루만 묵어 둘러보지 못한게 아쉬웠음. 호텔직원들은 아주 친절함. 객실과 욕실 전부 깨끗. 또 베네치아를 가게된다면 무조건 여기서 묵을예정임!!
