"We had to wait almost 2 HRS to check in, along with at least +10 other people ahead of us as our rooms were not ready. Front desk offered to comp us with Free drinks that the Bartender seems to be selective about who gets the Free drinks and who didn’t. It was very unpleasant to have to hash it out with her as well as other oddities on my check.
Complained to Front desk who then offered us Free breakfast to make up for it. Lastly the room just never cooled sufficiently and the maintenance guy who came up said he had to replace 3 AC units that night alone.
Honestly we were too tired to deal with it at this point so just ended up sleeping in a semi-warm room and reported it again in the morning so that AC unit could be fixed or replaced.
Curiously, the things I was worried about in reading the negative reviews was the cleanliness of the rooms, possible “bugs” and rooms needing to be updated. The room we were in was very clean, very nice, definitely NO BUGS of any kind… I was disappointed in the “attitude” of the
1 person I had the negative experience with and a room that never cooled sufficiently.
Apart from that, the property and room were very clean, very nice. Front desk and maintenance tried to be accommodating. I would definitely give the property another shot hoping that this was a “One off “ and my next stay would be better.
So for these reasons I can’t give a better review."
