"This was a really interesting building, clean with lively helpful staff. Unfortunately the room we had was very small for two people. The en-suite was small but functional. An upgrade would be an improvement."

"The staff were helpful as we arrived & departed early and allowed us to leave our bags in the office. The bedroom was pretty modern and well kitted out but the bathroom was rather tired and needs updating. They have live music till late in a Friday & Saturday night which didn’t bother us but just an FYI. Overall good experience & would recommend."

"Wonderful gem! We had a whirlwind stay for just 2 nights between docking at Southampton and leaving for Heathrow, but we crammed in a trip to Brighton to see family. The location of the inn was perfect: we could've gone into central Southampton easily enough, and having the train station a few minutes walk away was perfect for getting around. I only wish we'd had more energy and time to hang around the pub some more!"

"Great, cosy inn with plenty of space to eat. Family room had a good layout with some nice touches such as fresh milk for the tea and coffee. Staff very helpful and plenty of parking"

"Very good stay at The Crown at Emsworth. Check-in was really smooth and super friendly. Also, they were really accommodating with our dog, which was great! Room and bed were a little on the small size (we were in Room 7) but can’t fault the cleanliness, and how modern it was. Great stay - thank you!"
