"Having had to pay for parking to check in at the named hotel, we then travelled to the apartment. On arrival having again paid for parking, we went into the apartment and found the bedroom with unmade dirty sheets and dirty towels in the bathroom. We phoned the hotel who said we could have an upgrade. We eventually found the apartmend due to diversions. The gentleman who met us said he had checked the apartment and it was clean. La chambre est petite pour un 4 étoiles et la nécessité de claquer la porte pour la fermer quand on quitte la chambre (commun à toutes les chambres) trouble la tranquillité de l'endroit."

"We had a one night stay at this location, we were looking for free parking. There were dining options in the area, but it is a little more industrial and probably more suited for an overnight stay for travellers passing through or a business hotel. Either way it was most appropriate for us, plenty of room, comfortable bed, and clean. We did go into the city core and there is good bus service close to the door although later night bus service was limited. We would certainly return here again."

"This place is 3 min to the train station and ten min to the cathedral. Restaurants and shops are all around. It’s clean, safe, staff is friendly. I don’t use any of the amenities except breakfast which was buffet style with a good selection (fruit salad from fresh fruit, eggs boiled to your liking self service, scrambled eggs, baguette, pain au chocolat, yoghurt, some seeds and grains, butter, and cold cuts, juice and all manner of coffee. There is an elevator. Some rooms have access to one large terrace with views of the cathedral."

"We really enjoyed our one night stay at the Originals boutique Hotel. The staff helped us find the parking spot. They also told us about the illuminations each night on 21 various important building around Chartres. The most impressive are the projections on the front of the Cathedral. People were applauding at the end, it was so good. It's free to watch but there is a tourist train that will take you on a 45 min trip the town to see all the illuminations for 9€. I would definitely stay here again, breakfast was excellent. The hotel is right across from the train station. One thing to note there isn't an elevator, but the staff offered to help with bags."

"Lovely hotel and great location in the town. We arrived quite late but were greeted with a smile, and able to get a drink! The room was of a good size, the bed and pillows were comfortable and it was clean. There was plenty of choice for breakfast. I would highly recommend."

"Breakfast was poor, croissants undercooked as were pan au chocolate. Not the selection there used to be. The room was lovely, newly decorated and clean, air con worked. Staff were pleasant . Easy parking. We have been staying at Ibis Lucé for about 15years and this was the best yet. There is one problem, no lift and we are old people and it was very difficult climbing 3 flights of stairs to our room.It would be very helpful if you put us old folk on the ground floor. Apart from that our stay was great."
