Best Western Plus Windjammer Inn & Conference Center
8/10 Good
"This hotel, like the other Best Western locations where I've stayed, provided an overall pleasant experience. Firstly, the location is very convenient. Not only is it near local attractions but the parking lot at this location is even connected to a fuel station and Starbucks among a few other things. Furthermore, the pool room is nice, the included breakfast is generous and contains options even for those with food sensitivities, and there is a multi-beverage machine available in the lobby for use at any time. My wife also enjoyed the milk and cookies in the evenings. The downsides are few and relatively minor but they should be mentioned. Although the mattress appeared to be clean and have an encasement it was a little lumpy and uncomfortable. Additionally, when the staff were cleaning rooms around seven in the morning several loud thuds from what I believe to be the doors being dropped on the bar locks to keep them open after cleaning disturbed me. I was on vacation so this wasn't a huge deal and it was on just one day but I could imagine this getting on one's nerves if they were there on business trying to catch up on some sleep. Finally the room was a bit stuffy which I attribute to the HVAC system and there was part of pretzel left on the ground that was apparently missed both before we entered the room initially and after the staff was allowed to enter for cleaning during our stay. Regardless, we enjoyed our stay and liked the attached restaurant when we tried it."
"I simply used the room to sleep in close proximity to the airport. I am a returning customer.
The staff were friendly and helpful with wake up calls, and recommendation's for taxi service to the airport."
"Just stayed for one night picking my daughter up from college. It was the best experience because the last time I stayed in that area it was with a very subpar facility and I was grossed out by it. Your hotel is much cleaner I just hope that the rates don't get too exorbitant especially in today's economy. But overall it was a good stay. Thank you."
"Room was clean as was the lobby, halls and pool area. The bed and pillows were less than comfy but overall we had a fabulous time. Breakfast buffet was good. Would stay again, just bring our own pillows for sure!"
