Happy with my stay. Great location and a decent bargain. No breakfast, but i didn't mind.

Terrible check in, there wa a sign that the person will return 5 to 10 minutes, but there was a lady in the phone, after 15 minutes of waiting, finally same person help us to check in. Elevator too slow and limit two persons.

We enjoyed our 4-day stay at Beverly Laurel Hotel. Our room was clean and included a mini fridge and microwave. We enjoyed cooling off in the pool and relaxing on the pool deck in the lounge chairs. The hotel is walking distance to the Farmer's Market and the Grove as well as many great restaurants. We had dinner and breakfast at the diner next door which was delicious and affordable. The hotel provides valet parking but we parked on the street in our daughter's neighborhood which was an easy walk and allowed on weekends. We plan to stay here again next time we visit LA.

Beautiful place to stay! Right across from Surfrider's Beach. The rooftop bar had a wonderful view, the room was spacious and clean, super comfortable. Staff was very nice. It's pricey but makes sense for the location, the only thing is amenities could use some upgrades. They let you put in a complimentary coffee order the night before but really it's only drip coffee, if you want a latte or anything like that you'll have to pay for it yourself. We also had to call to remind them about our order. Similarly, I went to celebrate my engagement and had called ahead of time for a bottle of champagne which they did not include upon arrival, I had to call again after I arrived to request it again. They also didn't include my partners name on the welcome letter. All of these are minor grievances but something to consider if you're going to celebrate a special occasion.
