"I booked it quite late and was driving by the time the itinerary came through. I had thought it was a hotel not a B&B so was surprised when I arrived and could find no reception and no staff. Then I tried to contact the owner which took some time. Eventually she arrived and I discovered the nearest restaurant was 5 miles away for dinner. "We felt well cared for while spending two nights at La Bonne Auberge with our German Shepard. Emmanuel, the host, had a dog bed, water dish and disposable bags in the room on our arrival. The room was nicely appointed with a very comfortable bed and nice linens. The view from the terrace was spectacular, especially at night.
