"We had a lovely stay at The Pelican and there really wasn’t anything to fault. So well positioned to walk into the old town its location is definitely its draw but the hotel stands up on its own too. Lovely reception area with friendly staff. The room was immaculate and styled beautifully. I didn’t eat in the hotel so can’t comment on the food but the restaurant and menu did look amazing if on the pricey side.
Pool was probably smaller than I imagined but it was never very busy and we visited in prime time August and could usually get a lounger with ease.
The hotel is on the more expensive side but it did feel well worth it and the family room with mezzanine level was perfect for our needs especially having 2 areas to get ready with teen girls.
I’d definitely recommend the hotel as a place to stay and would happily revisit"
"The hotel is in a perfect location and you can easily walk to everything. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were spacious and very clean"
"Staff was super friendly and helpful. The place is new so everything was great. The only 2 things, was the parking garage was a bit difficult to navigate down but secure and the toilet and washroom was built for tall people."
"Brand new hotel with nice wellness area. Very close to the lake and the beach. About 2km walk from town. Some staff great, others less especially in the spa area. Beware of the bathing suit dress code in the spa."
"Very spacious room. We are a family of 5 and they were able to accommodate us in one room. Good location - just a short drive to Hotel de Ville. Would likely book again if we returned to Annecy"
"The proximity to the train/bus station and the old town, as well as the lake was super helpful! Everything was within walking distance!
We did have some issues with housekeeping the first week. If we didn’t ask for it, the housekeeper wouldn’t clean our room! The second week it was much better. The reception staff were very sweet and helpful and kept apologizing for the inconveniences we suffered.
Also, be prepared to carry your suitcases from the 3rd to the 4th floor, the elevator only goes up to the third floor! Overall, we had a great time in Annecy!"
