"This is a great location. The staff are super helpful. Good directions to get i to the property. Only issue was the shower heads were both not working properly. "

"The hotel was quiet out of the way from the Main Street but in a great location for walking to the shops. The room was big and smart with good AC. Bathroom was a little small but clean. Lovely rooftop bar for
Breakfast with jacuzzi."

"Perfect location right across from train station. "
"We were upgraded to a 2-story room. Good and bad, more space but with stairs to access the bed and bathroom. Parking is convenient.
Location is ok, relatively near the centre but many stairs were on construction, we had to walk the winding streets. Taxis in Napoli are 99% unreliable and will charge you more than the fair fee."
"Property was fine but location felt unsafe.Convenient for transport close to train station. Breakfast buffet was great and Gluten free breakfast was outstanding. Very happy with hotel staff and service"
"We had a wonderful stay at Matilde! The property itself is spacious, clean, and beautifully maintained, with big, comfortable rooms that make you feel right at home. The location could not be better—you’re within walking distance of everything you’d want to see in Naples. From here, it’s easy to explore the historic center, the vibrant Spanish Quarter (where you’ll find the famous Diego Maradona mural), and countless charming streets full of life.
One of the highlights is, of course, the food—Naples is the birthplace of pizza, and you truly get to experience the very best here. Around the property, there are endless options, from authentic trattorias to world-renowned pizzerias. It felt like every meal was a highlight!
The service at Matilde is warm and welcoming, and you can really tell the hosts care about making your stay comfortable and memorable. Whether you’re here for sightseeing, history, or simply to eat the best pizza in Italy, this is the perfect base to experience Naples. Highly recommend!"
