"If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway near the beach, this hotel is a fantastic choice. The staff are exceptionally friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. We stayed in the Junior Suite Sea Side; while it doesn’t offer a direct sea view, it provides a unique sense of privacy and tranquility, overlooking a beautiful pine forest that lies between the hotel and the shore. The hotel is very family-friendly, which creates a lively and warm atmosphere. If you prefer a quieter breakfast, I recommend going early in the morning. Speaking of breakfast, it was truly outstanding-the best we’ve experienced in Portugal-with an impressive variety and top-quality options. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily return if we’re in the area again. Highly recommended for anyone seeking comfort, great service, and easy access to the beach."

"It’s all about the location at the top of a mountain overlooking a jewel box of a church. This grand hotel was built in the early 1900’s. It has been renovated but is definitely an older property. Room was comfortable and the view was AMAZING. Breakfast was wonderful. "

"I stayed in this fabulous chocolate hotel in early October when I was walking on the Camino way. After a 10 mile day of walking, it was wonderful to get there and berated with a wine spritzer with chocolate shavings, delicious chocolate bar, and a beautiful hotel. The breakfast was included and was absolutely fabulous. I highly recommend this place. "
