"Had a nice sleep. Bed was great. Bar left a lot to be desired and food was mediocre. I ordered the butterflied shrimp and got frozen un-butterflied half cold basket to boot. Not impressed with your kitchen or bar staff."

"Staff were awesome. Christina and Tasha got us through two emergency situations with accessibility and extending our stay. Both were so helpful, but they also resolved our issues beautifully. They have the best customer service and truly wanted us to have the best as well as satisfied with what they offered. You don’t see that in hospitality much, but they both went beyond! So happy we chose this hotel for our stay."

"I am writing to express my sincere appreciation for the exceptional service I received during my recent stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Vicksburg, Mississippi, from August 4th through August 17th.I had to travel to Vicksburg unexpectedly due to a sudden bereavement in my family. Traveling alone for nearly two weeks during such a difficult time left me feeling quite apprehensive. However, the outstanding team at this location ensured that I felt safe, comfortable, and well-supported throughout my stay. I want to specifically commend Linda McDonald at the front desk. From the moment she assisted me with check-in, she became a comforting and reassuring presence. Every evening when I returned after a exhausting day of handling family arrangements, Linda greeted me warmly. She consistently inquired about my day, my family, and the comfort of my room. At a time when I truly needed a friendly and compassionate interaction, her kindness meant more than words can express. Additionally, the morning staff was equally wonderful, always wishing me a productive day as I left, and ensuring the breakfast area was well-maintained with fresh, hot coffee. From the housekeeping team and breakfast hostesses to the front office staff, every single employee model hospitality at its finest. Please extend my sincere gratitude to the Vicksburg team."

"First and foremost, the front desk staff was amazing! She was friendly, welcoming, and very helpful, especially when we checked in late. When I mentioned we needed to check out early for my daughter’s swimming meet, she even offered to arrange an early breakfast for us, which was very thoughtful. The room was clean overall, but could use some updates. The chair was dusty, and there was a noticeable black spot on the lampshade. The Wi-Fi was fast, which was a plus. My main concern was the door lock. It felt a little loose even when closed and locked, and since our room door was outside the main building, it made me a little uncomfortable. Waffle House is conveniently located right across the hotel and within walking distance. The area was okay, but I wouldn’t feel completely comfortable staying alone. Overall, we had a pleasant stay, and the great customer service made a big difference!"
